Welcome to the Peoria Riverfront Museum's Learning Lab! Enjoy a space for the whole family, with exhibition related activities and educational materials. Through Summer 2023, take a mindful approach to your health and explore what makes our bodies so amazing!
Nestled in the juncture between "HEART " the exhibition and "BODY WORLDS RX ", the Learning Lab offers a kid-friendly environment, perfect for processing the exhibitions with mom and dad or just taking a moment for play. Enjoy an origami heart folding station, "Eat the Rainbow" nutrition education, a "Calm Corner" complete with yoga mats and a step by step guide to a beginner's sun salutation, and everything else you need to learn together!
"Story Time In HEART " will take place in the Learning Lab every third Friday of the month, from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
The Learning Lab will include a Book Nook for ages ten and under, fully stocked with books on nutrition, heart health, love and mindfulness.
